WSNS Academy believes that instilling leadership and problem-solving skills
in the mind's of our youth is paramount. Without the mind to move the body,
performance would suffer. That is why we have developed and integrated a
Leadership Assistance Program into our organization. This program was
designed to help the athletes involved in the program, cope and deal with the
hardships that surround their lives. It is a mentor program, in which the
WSNS Academy staff is available to any athlete enrolled in a program.

The One v. One Program was
designed to give the participants
in the programs a "partner" that
they can go to for help. This
program pairs younger
participants with older
participants, in an effort to bridge
the age gap and give the
participants someone they can
relate to. This helps develop
communication skills and
increases self-esteem, while
serving the needs of the
participants.
